Here's an edited version of the TV show How Do They Do It. We chopped out a lot of the 30 minute show to keep the file smaller, though it is still about 16 megs. Thanks to the Science Channel for taking the time out to come out to the Forge and film How we make a Super Steel Sword.

New Bright Knight Swords PDF Print E-mail

The first few pieces of a style shift in the Bright Knights are now finished. This group will feature finely detailed cast fittings. We have been working on these for months.

Snippet from our forum :

Question from The Grey Swordsman "They look great. What's the motivation? Making higher quality pieces available below Avatar or Angel prices?"

Response from Daniel Watson "The deep motivation is artistic. I work to keep shifting influences in my art. Unless there are new ideas and techniques evident each year, then I feel that the art degrades into pure craftsmanship. Art should never be boring. I want people that see my work on a regular basis to know that there will always be new flavors and designs. Old styles and techniques may be dropped or just drift away. I don't want anyone to think that there will be another one just the same (or similar) next year. My work should be collectible not only by the various trademarks but also by time period."

Here are a few photo's taken of the new blades.
